OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) at St. Teresa of Avila Parish is a welcoming place for adults to ask questions, explore the Catholic faith, and reflect on where God may be calling them. There is no fee to participate, and there is no pressure or obligation.

OCIA is for adults who:

• Are not Catholic but are curious about what Catholics believe
• Come from another Christian background and are interested in learning more
• Are Catholic but have not yet received all of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion, and/or Confirmation)
• Simply want to grow deeper in their understanding of faith, prayer, and the Church

• You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of what you submitted
• Someone from the parish will contact you to answer questions and talk about next steps
• Completing the form does not commit you to becoming Catholic
• You are always free to ask questions, take your time, and discern at your own pace

OCIA is a journey, not a requirement — and we are glad to walk with you wherever you are.
