Deacon Danny Craig
Deacon Danny Craig was baptized at the Sacred Heart Church (which was one of three downtown Augusta parishes that consolidated into The Church of the Most Holy Trinity in 1971). He is a graduate of the Sacred Heart Elementary School and Aquinas High School (1973). He and Crystal were childhood neighbors and married in 1975. They have 3 children (one of whom, Sarah Anne, has entered into the Kingdom of Heaven) and 12 grandchildren. Deacon Danny earned a BBA degree from Augusta College in 1976 (with majors in Accounting and Business Management). He earned a Juris Doctorate from Mercer Law School in 1976 and an MA in Theology from St. Leo University in 2017. His parish service at St. Teresa of Avila includes many years on Parish Council and our many building committees since 1982. He also taught Faith Formation classes for 18 years. His legal career includes 14 years in private practice; 15 years as District Attorney; and 17 years as a Superior Court Judge, retiring in 2024.
Danny and Crystal consider their parish family as a blessing beyond measure.
