AQUINAS HIGH SCHOOL GRANT: The Education Ministry is seeking current eighth graders, freshmen, sophomores, and juniors interested in the Aquinas Catholic Education Celebration Grant. This program provides a grant of $2,000 in tuition support for the 2012-13 school year for a student from our parish interested in attending Aquinas High School.

 Please contact Debbie Rogers at the office to obtain further information about the application process. We will make every effort to ensure confidentiality. Applicants should have been members of St. Teresa’s for at least two years unless they are recent registrants from a parish outside the Augusta Deanery. The family must be contributing members to the parish in the form of time, talent and treasure or a combination deemed appropriate by the pastor. Deadline is March 30, 2012. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SUBSIDY: St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church is proud to announce the subsidy program in the amount of $1000 in tuition support for the 2012-13 school year for elementary school students from our parish to attend: St. Mary on-the-Hill Catholic School, Immaculate Conception Catholic School, or Our Lady of Peace School. The student’s family must also have been registered with the parish for one year prior to applying for the subsidy, or they may be recent registrants from a parish outside of the Augusta Deanery. The family must be contributing members to the parish in the form of time, talent, and treasure or a combination of these to be determined by the pastor, as he deems appropriate. The family should have a Stewardship Commitment Card on file with the parish. Applicants will be expected to submit the completed application form and supporting financial documents to the parish office, Attn: Education Ministry, no later than March 30, 2012. GRADUATING SENIORS YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION: St. Teresa of Avila Parish will award two scholarships annually: One for a young man (Saint John Bosco), and one for a young lady (Saint Elizabeth Seton). The amount of the scholarship for 2012-2013 is $1000.00 per recipient. Submittal deadline to the parish office is March 30, 2011 at 3:00 pm.
