As pastor of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, I would like to extend you a warm welcome to Columbia County!

I recognize that we are a very mobile country. Most of us have been required by work or circumstances to have to venture to a new part of the world. This sense of dislocation and isolation can take time to overcome.

My hope is that if you are reading this that you are considering making St. Teresa of Avila your new church home. It is my desire that you will find a warm, welcoming community here. Hospitality is one of the hallmarks of our parish family. I believe that you will find that sense of an extended family here. We look forward to seeing you at the Mass or at one of our many ministries.

Certainly, there are no strangers in God’s house. We try to live out the spirit of St. Teresa of Avila in everything we do. It is my prayer that you will feel that same spirit as you become a part of our growing community.
