Dear Elijah Cup families, Thank you for
your participation in this new ministry at St. Teresa of Avila. We will
begin this coming weekend, Jan. 28-29. I will call each of the five
families who are scheduled for this weekend to touch base regarding the
procedure. It is very easy - the priest will call the family to the altar
steps after communion and the deacon will bring the chalice to the family who
will return to their seats. The priest will continue with the closing
blessing. The important thing to remember is that the family needs
to return the chalice
the following weekend to the mass time they received it.
Please arrive at
least 15 minutes early, so the chalice can be placed on the
small credence table.
